Est Of Number Of Tramadol Pills

My brother passed away two years ago from a Tramadol overdose. He had a 15mg of Tramadol per ltr. of blood. He weighed about 205 lbs and was about 6 feet tall. Is there any way to determine how many Ultram ER 100 pills he would have had to take to reach this level? A guess or estimate of a range would be helpful.

Hi Bob I am very sorry to hear about your brother. The average human body contains between 5 and 6 liters of blood, so if we assume that your brother had 5.5 liters of blood in his body then that would equal out to approx 82.5mg of Tramadol.

That actually does not sound outside the normal range based on a 100mg extended release dosage. Are you sure it was 15mg per liter? I also hope that I did not make a mistake with my calculations.

Could it also be that he had a bad reaction or mixed it with another substance?
