To answer your question, yes, Methyltestosterone (found in estrogen mtest) is in fact a man-made form of testosterone.

However, the combination of esterified estrogens + methyltestosterone can be used to treat a variety of symptoms associated with menopause (as a means of hormone replacement therapy).
