Had my last 20mg dose of escitalopram (generic for Lexapro) 6 days ago, which I was taking to help mediate menopause symptoms including hot flashes (it worked, too!) I have a pre-employment 5 panel urine drug screen test this afternoon. Will the escitalopram test positive for any drugs? Or will it have sufficiently flushed through my system any way (based on its half life of 27 - 32 hours)? Do I need to disclose it (I'd prefer not to if possible)?

I was prescribed Lexamil 5mg and I took 1 on the 11.11.2010 before reading the prescription note. I am feeling so overweight, and my bowel movement is totally altered. How long does the effects last? Yes, many of them can cause some weight gain, however, taking on pill is not enough to have that effect. It may have caused some bloating and intestinal upset, however, these are normal side effects and should wear off in a few weeks as your body adjusts to the medication. I googled this pill but got more then one answer of what this is. ## Hi Jade, It took some major digging to find a match on this one, but my research indicates that a round white film-coated tablet with 20 on one side and a score line on the other is reportedly identified as Escitalopram oxalate (20mg). This medication is an antidepressant. So far I've only seen a single image of this pill throughout the entire internet, which leads me to believe that it is probably no longer being made in this specific form with these imprints. The vast majority of Escitalopram images signify that as well. Unfortunately there aren't any other details I could go off of in terms of verifying the exact manufacturer, but hopefully this can at least help serve as strong prospect until further notice...

Would taking two of the IG250 (10mg) escitalopram be okay? What are the side effects of doing so, etc.? I just want to know if this is safe? I've been so much more anxious! ## It can be taken in doses up to 20mgs, but you shouldn't adjust your dosage, without your doctor's approval. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and given Abilify A few weeks ago I became depressed and the doctors want to add Lexapro. I was given the generic. Will these two medications interact with each other. So far I have not started the Lexapro 5mg and I only take 7mg of Abilify per day. I have a family history of diabetes. I am not a diabetic, but my father has diabetes. I read Lexapro can cause diabetes in some patients. I have been taking Lexamil 10mg to 20mg for one and a half months. My body feels stiff and tingly nervous. How long before I start feel relaxed and calm. If Lexamil is not the right medication for me, what would you advise I take instead. I found this pill in my truck and have had trouble figuring out what the hell it is. Its a small, white, and round pill; on one side it has the number ten on it and nothing else, then the other side has a line down the middle, nothing else.
