Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, diarrhea, and headache. There are no warnings stating that it has been known to cause bleeding. As to the tooth, just because you've taken an antibiotic, before, doesn't mean it won't work for you, again. You should take it, and see if it works. But yes, if you have a bad tooth that is beco...

Could you tell me what this ingredients are in this medication? ## I bought a bottle of Eritromicina in Mexico for my husband's tooth problem. Will it help with inflamed gums too? ## @Kidcurrey, Eritromicina translates to Erythromycin, which is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections (typically used to treat bacteria responsible for causing infections of the skin and upper respiratory tract). It may help inflamed gums if the cause is bacterial overgrowth, but I would ask a doctor or dentist just to be sure. @Pam, Gentromicina translates to Gentamicin, which is also an antibiotic. But it is typically used to treat more severe kinds of infections such as bone infections, endocarditis, pelvic inflammatory disease, meningitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and se...

Can we use this tablet for trot pain? ## I'm not certain what you are referring to when you say trot pain; but Erycin (also known by its generic name Erythromycin) is a macrolide antibiotic used in replacement for people who have an allergy to penicillins. It can be used for dental abscess; chlamydia infection; strep throat; bowel preparation; and syphilis, among other uses as well. That said, I don't think it can be used for specifically for pain, but it may be a good idea to confirm that with your doctor (depending on the circumstance), since it may have an indirect effect to help with pain by getting rid of an infection that may have been causing pain. Does that make sense? You can view a more detailed description of the drug by clicking on the link below... If you have any m...

I got the tablets for an infection and I'm pregnant. And no, in the U.S. the FDA has found it to cause Hepatoxicity (liver damage) in pregnant women. While it is reversible, when the medication is discontinued, it can endanger both the mother and baby, so they have not approved it for use during pregnancy. I have a taste similar to iodine on my tongue and the my breathe smells like iodine. Could it be because of this medication? ## First things first, I believe that if you were not experiencing any of these symptoms prior to taking this medication (and you aren't taking any other forms of medication), then the answer is most likely yes, this is a side effect of Eryko. Eryko contains the active ingredient Erythromycin, which has some pretty serious side effects that may be associated with its use. Although I couldn't find anything suggesting that it creates a weird taste in the mouth, I highly recommend taking a look at the two links below for side effe...
