Seems to increase the heart rate when I trying to sleep! is this normal??

No, this is not normal, the possibility of developing an arrhythmia is actually warned about as a serious side effect and since the elevated heart rate could lead to it, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Some medications just don't work well for certain people, so you may need to try something else.
