Eryko Safe?

I am taking Eryko-250, I am also taking Oralcon contraceptive pills. I have been told that antibiotocs cancel out the function of the pill, is this true? Will my pill still work?

Eryko contains the active ingredient Erythromycin and yes, it can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.

Thus, while you are under treatment with it, it is best to use some other back up form of contraceptive, such as condoms, until you have finished your course of treatment with it and taken the active birth control tablets again for a full 7 days.
