Eptoin 100mg Side Effects And How To Stop Using It (Page 3)

My brother has been taken eptoin 100mg for more than 4 years till date with 2 doses a day and at present he is complaining of backaches and pain in the right leg which he cannot move and sometimes he is having breathing problem and weak. He could not sleep every night but slept around 2-3 Am morning till 11:00 Am, along with eptoin 100mg, the doctor advised him to take Dicorate 500mg and lobazam-0.5 which he is taken regularly. Do these medicines have any side effects? If he stops eptoin what would be the result? Please do reply with any suggestions.

Hi, i am 36. i got seizures last year 2014 on November month but the doctor to whom i was taken didn't tell anything and discharged me, but i got again seizures on February 2015 and i was taken to other doctor. he told my friends abt the prob i have and he suggested me EPTOIN 100mg morning and night each one but i was feeling drowsiness the whole day when i took tablet in the morning so i met the same doctor and he suggested me EPTOIN 300 mg (extended Edition). now i am fine ok and i visit the same doctor every 2 months for general checkup. But my Question is upto what age i should consume EPTOIN. is it up to my death or certain years or can the dosage be reduced to 100 mg one tablet a day. how can i come to know of my problem is it getting cured or not. Even doctor has told me not to take very hot or very cold water bath & he suggested to go for a YOGA class(meditation). there was no such seizures problem with my old ancestors (i.e my father or grandfather or even old as i heard from my mother).

Kindly Tell me the medication for my seizures. Will my health problem pass to my wife if we have intercourse or will it affect my baby which is born recently (7 months). Please i request u to give me suggestions (i was even practicing MARTIAL ARTS, left it because of the seizures problem), please let me be alive until my daughter grows.

I forgot to tell that all the CT BRAIN & MRI SCAN which was conducted on me came negative (my doctor told me that seizures can come even if we take lot of tension to our brain & told me to go to yoga class).

This for my wife, she had a brain surgery last 2014 may ,Due to brain tumor,after doctor proscribed to take eptoin 100mg 3 times a day,still continue. She suffering both leg pain.She asks the leg pain,is it a side effect of taking eptoin or not,or else need any another tests.pls give a reply.

Hello sir, my father mind curgery last 3 year and docotor says eption 400mg per day, 200mg morning nd 200mg night, but jdo oh hun chadee hann teh dorra pendaa hai means 1mint full body hang, but why? Please solve this situation.

My brother commited an accident after that doctor suggested him eption for a month and stop the medicine . ct scan and mri suggested he is having small spots of clotting in right lobe of brain . kindly advise what to do.

mujhe 2½ years pahale 3 se 4 bar fit aayi thi badme MRI scan kiya sab normal tha
doctor ne eptoin100 din me 3 lene ke liye kaha lekin fir bhi 2½saal bad aayi .
kyu aayi hogi please batayiye

I had first epileptic attack on 2001 when i was in college. Doctor advised me to take guardinal 60mg tab for one month and said that that was due to over stress. Then i went to another neurologist, she was a lady doctor. She advised me to take eption 100mg tablet a day. After taking it for 3 years i was cure completely. Then i stopped taking tablet. But suddenly one day i became senseless. After that i again started taking eption 100mg tab once a day without consulting doctor. From then i have no such attack. But now i have felt myself to be somewhat lack of confidence, irritating. I want to get rid of taking medicine. Please guide me what can i do now?

I am taking eption phenytoin100mg from 2001, underwent 3 times epileptic attack.( 5-10 minutes duration) feeling drowsiness sometimes and sound sleep during night, with conscious and some times without conscious complained my wife. Any remedy for unconscious sleep during night.
Age 46, dosage 1-0-1 .

Of course all medicine have side effects..but eptoin is slow working medicine which should. Be consumed for several years so this won't have much problem
