Endo Opana Er

I have been prescribed Opana ER 40 mg three times a day, since 2003. In the last two months it has become unavailable from the manufacturer, you. I have been able to substitute 20 mg ER and it works, just more pills. Now they have become unavailable, and it hurts. You can't just stop taking this medication. I'm sure you know after eight years you go thru withdrawals on top of the pain. What can I replace the Opana with?

No, this site is not the manufacturer, this site does not manufacture any medications, or products, this is an information only website.

The reason the Opana was in short supply was to do to the fact that the manufacturer was reformulating the tablets to help prevent abuse.

However, they have recently become available again, so you should be able to find them in your local pharmacies.

DO NOT FILL YOUR OPANA SCRIPS ANYMORE THE NEW 1s DO NOT HELP PAIN AT ALL!!!!!!

ENDO AKA OPANA.... YOU HAVE JUST LOST MY $$$ I TAKE OPANA ER 20MG 2Xs/DAY & OPANA ER 40MG 3Xs/DAY & W/O INSURANCE IT COST ME 1280.00 & 480.00 JUST FOR THESE 2 SCRIPS. WITH THE NEW FORMULATION THEY DO NOT HELP MY PAIN @ ALL! I HAVE LUPUS & I AM IN CONSTANT PAIN EVERYDAY & IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THE SAME TROUBLE AS I AM JUST GETTING SOME RELEIF ENDO WILL BE BANKRUPT WITHIN 3MOS BC IM NOT PAYING FOR OPANAS ANYMORE BC THEY DO NOT WORK ANYMORE.

I was like you. I was on it since the beginning and now I can't get it anymore. My doctor substituted Morphine and I noticed since I was on Opana for years I was getting a tolerance to it. However since he changed to Morphine I can assure you, you will NOT have withdrawals. I promise that. They calculate how much Morphine to give you that equals the dosage of Opana that you had. It's all about people abusing the Opana. They're trying to blame Opana for all the deaths so guess what? The people in pain get to suffer. I would try the Morphine, for me it does help. Can you post something if you go on Morphine? I hope this helps.
