Eltroxin Tab

I have to take eltroxin 125mcg lifelong. If I took an expired eltroxin tablet, will there be any problems/side effects? Please advise.

Sir as I undergone totalthyroidectomy surgery hence i have to use ELTROXIN tab life long If I took expired tab any contraindications/sideeffects. kindly suggest me

This contains the active ingredient Levothyroxine.

How old was it?

From what I've found, it doesn't get dangerous past the expiration date, but it may not be as effective as it was, when it was new, but you should double check this information with a doctor, or pharmacist.

The doctor said I have hyperthyroidism. I used to break eltroxin 0.05mg into a half, now I take the whole tablet but I still feel tired everyday.

My 4 month son diagnosed with thyroid problem his TSH is above500 and T3 is 35 and T4 is below 1. Doctor started him on Eltroxin 10 days back...how long it takes to come to normal range....Will my son grow normal.
