Elmiron And Interstitial Cystitis, Bacterial Infections Found

I've taken Elmiron since 2012. Honestly, I found that I had bacterial infections that were not found by a normal lab. I used PathOGenius, in Lubbock TX. Molecular testing is the only way to identify these Biofilms. If you have a toe fungus, a sore, a upper respiratory infection that just wont go away, get in touch with PathOGenius or Granger Labs. My urine was sent to them and it took around 3 weeks to get all results back. Believe me, I am so much better! I was house bound before.

I'm interested in your case. I take Elmiron for IC and for the past month have had several test in my vaginal area as I know I have an infection. Even the physicians say upon looking it at the presentation it appears abnormal but all tests keep coming back normal. I'm tempted to just take some antibiotics I have here at the house. One is specific for vaginal bacterial infections. Did your insurance pay for the diagnostic testing? If so, how did you convince your physician it might be related to your medication masking the infection. Thank you kindly for your help. Blessed Be.
