Eliquis Not Working

Hello I have been on Eliquis for about one and half Years do to bad PE'sim happy to be on it had a bad time on warfarin my question is has anyone had issues weather it is working I cut my self yesterday I should have bleed bad but did. Not and latey my periods have been normal I scares me A bit is there achanc the Eliquis is not working

There's always a chance that any given medication will not work for someone, that's why there are usually several options to try in any given therapeutic category.

Have you had any of the other side effects, such as nausea, headache, joint/muscle pain or easy bruising?

Your doctor would be the best judge.

I had been on Xarelto 20mg for almost a year when I was switched to Eliquis 5mg. Reason for meds was dvt in legs and multiple clots in lungs back in Nov. 2014. I do not appear to bleed badly and don't have bruising. It is my understanding that you won't necessarily have those type of side effects with these drugs.

The only way I can tell they are working, I guess, is that, so far, I have not had more clots.

I have been on Eliquis almost 3 years now. I do not bleed a lot when I get cut. My bruising is minimal. IT seems to be working though. No clots since I started it! Good Luck!

Love to have read your message. I started Eliquis in June and have had no major problems. I also take 2 BP meds as well. Seems most people have a problem and I was looking for some positive response from someone, and there it was from you. Thank you.

I have been taking Eliquis for a year now. Major side effect for me is hair loss. I am 65 I have very little hair now. Very depressing. I am so self conscious. I have never liked hats nor wigs. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I don't even want to go to church.
