I have woken in the morning with a black eye - this has happened twice within a month. I have been on Eliquis for 6 months. Could this be caused by Eliquis?

Yes, the FDA does list odd and irregular bruising as being among the possible side effects. You may be jerking around, or moving, whilst asleep and causing yourself to experience a black eye.
However, it is always a good idea to check with your doctor to be safe and make sure that there is nothing else going on that could be putting you in danger.
Are you on any other medications?
