Thanks for sharing! This sounds like an excellent natural remedy for mucous/phlegm relief.

If anyone here is battling this, I'd also recommend cutting out all dairy products since they are mucous forming by nature. As a potent elixir, you could even mix effervescent tablets with hot tea, raw honey, and a drop of peppermint essential oil for added relief and health benefits.
