Effects Of Lyrica At Higher Doses

My pain dr recently started me on 50 mg of Lyrica. If the 50mg doesn't help what mg should I take? I have deep sore stiff pain and it only hurts worse when im walking or standing to wash dishes. They say I have osteoarthritis in my back and knees and they are rubbing bone to bone. What should I tell my pain dr.? Please help me.

Well, the best thing to do is to give the Lyrica a chance and see if it will help you, or not. How long have you been taking it?

It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy in your body.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight changes.
