Effects From Opana Er

I have never tried this medicine, but my dr has prescribed OPANA ER for me...even though I wanted the direct release...What are the effects?

The effects of this will be similar to the direct release or any other opiate narcotic, this is just a time released version, so it slowly releases the dose over a certain time period, which means it takes about 20 minutes or so to start working in your body, but lasts much longer in your system than the instant release.
