Effectiveness Of Algeacal Instead Of Prolia

Need everyone’s advice, good or bad, on AlgaeCal or similar products. Latest DEXA for me is -3.6 which is the worst I’ve gotten. Will not do another Prolia shot due to side effects that have just begun to recede after 2 years. If I had to do one supplement and a couple of exercises, what would you suggest they be?

In my mother-in-laws case, when she couldn't tolerate medications, her doctor told to her to eat at least one serving of yogurt a day, because the calcium in it is readily absorbed.

There are also some foods listed here according to their calcium content.

VerFree ~ Thank you for your valuable input. Being dairy intolerant yogurt is tricky, but I find Goat yogurt I am okay with usually. Due to a 2yr divorce I haven’t seen any Drs like I used to. Now have appts for a Rheumatologist and Cardiologist coming up after waiting 3 months! My primary is ‘free’ but all others are deemed ‘specialists’ and cost a copay of $25. Other than the Pap I demanded due to being a DES Daughter, she just points me to various specialists.
