I accidentally took two doses of Hemarate. I thought it was my prenatal vitamin then I remembered I had already taken another 1 and I just vomited it out. I don't know if I vomited the other 1 or if it absorbed already. Could this cause any side effects to me and my baby?

Low blood pressure is different from anemia. Anemia is low red blood cell count in the blood. Blood pressure is the pressure of the blood in the arteries and veins. Have your levels of red blood cells check first before taking Hemarate FA.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant,my doctor prescribed Hemarate FA.
I think it has an effect on me every time I take it. After 10-15mins mins my back started to feel heavy and I felt loosing my energy that last for an hour.

Hemarate FA contains iron, folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12. The requirements for these nutrients are highly increased during pregnancy and lactation. These nutrients are necessary for healthy blood, to prevent iron-deficiency anemia and to prevent neural tube defects (NTDs). NTDs are malformations of the baby’s brain and/or spinal cord which can be prevented by adequate folic acid intake particularly during the very early stages of pregnancy.

I am 19 and advised to take Hemarate for 2months by my Doctor in Cebu because I have a low blood pressure. I am not even pregnant and so, I would say even if you are not pregnant you could still take the Hemarate.
