6 REPLIES UpdatedWhat time of day should I take Edarbi? ## What has your doctor advised? Edarbi is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure and, in most cases, it's usually taken in the morning, to help control your blood pressure during the times of day you will be most active and experience the most fluctuations. However, it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, so some people prefer to take it at night. ## Hi yaw, The dosing and administration guidelines for Edarbi state the following: "Azilsartan comes as a tablet to take by mouth. 1 REPLY UpdatedHas anyone had burning of hands and feet and callouses on hands and feet from edarbi? ## Edarbi (Azilsartan Medoxomil) doesn't appear to list any such symptoms as a possible adverse effect. However it does sound to me like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction to the drug. I could be wrong in assuming this, but there are no side effects stating otherwise. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, the patient prescribing information recommends getting medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Edarbi Details Were you ever able to confirm that the symptoms y...
1 REPLY Updatedbest time of day or night to take morning or night ## What has your doctor advised? Edarbi contains the active ingredient Azilsartan, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. And, unless they have instructed you otherwise, it should normally be taken in the morning, so it can help control your blood pressure during the times of day that you are most active, since those are the times it is more apt to fluctuate and elevate. At night, when you are resting, your heart rate and blood pressure are normally lower and the medications aren't as important.
