Ecotrin Aspirin Regimen

36mg red coated tabs do not dissolve. My testing them was
1. 1hr in my mouth (red coating came off only with no taste)
2. 48hrs in a cup of tap water the same tab is still not dissolved.
I have to assume that they have been passing through my body undissolved without advertised benefits.

Any suggestions?

Can you address the 2nd observation: The tab did not dissolve in my mouth or in water. (It is still not dissolved days later.)
