Ecosprin Av And Rosuvastatin

My aunt is prescribed Ecosprin AV and Rosuvastatin daily. Can these drugs be taken simultaneously?

They generally should not be taken together, since Ecosprin AV contains Atorvastatin, with Aspirin, so it and Rosuvastatin are basically doubling up on the same medication.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches.

Is she on any other medications?
