Eating Before Taking Chantix
UpdatedDoes a protein drink in the morning, before taking Zantex, be considered a meal? Don't want to get nauseous, but not a breakfast eater.

Hello, Ken! How are you?
That should be fine, unless your doctor or pharmacist see some problem with it. It usually doesn't have to be a full meal to help prevent the nausea, even a small snack or glass of milk may help.
The FDA lists the other typical side effects of Chantix as possibly including dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, gas, headache and unusual dreams.
Is there anything else I can help with?
