I took 6 mg lunesta on an empty stomach. When can I eat again? How many hours after taking lunesta can I eat without it interrupting the effects of the medication?

Hello, Michelle! How are you?

There shouldn't be any issue with eating and taking this medication. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, hallucinations, and sleep actions.

However, you should be going to bed, shortly after taking it, and not taking it early enough to require a meal. Are you on any other medications?
