Can I get my Xanax refilled ten days early?

Generally no, but it depends on the Pharmacy. My insurance will allow refills when 75% of the medicine is used up, but the pharmacy can make you wait until the entire supply is used. I had a 3 month prescription and got it refilled at the 2 month point as I wanted a free $25 Rite Aid card. I got the pharmacist in trouble and was told never to attempt that again. However I have done so since, just not at that period, plus my plan no longer allows for those free $25 cards

Generally that is too far in advance for a controlled substance, most pharmacies will only allow you to refill it a day, or two in advance, while some require you to wait until the exact day it needs to be refilled. Xanax is a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming, and is very commonly abused, so tight regulations have been put in place to try to prevent problems.

I understand some people may be going on vacation, and unable to get their refill at the usual time. If that is the case, I'd suggest speaking to your doctor to see what arrangements can be made.

This is an old post, but I just saw it. It is the law that prohibits an RX from being filled too soon, not the pharmacies. States have different laws regarding controlled substances & my state laws are severe. So that may not be the case in every state, but it is here.
