Early Period On Sprintec

Almost seven weeks ago I missed an active Sprintec pill and had sex with my boyfriend. I realized the next day and took two active pills as prescribed. Within the 72 hour period I took Plan B. I had a normal period a few days after this while on the placebo/white pills. I've had one period since then. I am on the third week of active pills and I have six more days to go before I should take the placebo pills. I began spotting last night. I had one large clump of blood but everything else has just been spotting. Is this normal after taking Plan B? Is it normal to have an early period on Sprintec?

Well, you've got a lot going on there the has likely contributed to causing this spotting. You doubled up on the missed pills, then you added in the Plan B, that means you took pretty high doses of various hormones in a very short period of time.

And it could be due to the doubling up on the pills, the Plan B, the regular dosage of the pills, or a combination of all of the above.
