My 20 yr old daughter is suffering with a pain in her outer ear and is very tender to the touch. She has said that the pain goes from her ear down to her jaw when she eats. This is causing her to not eat at all. Also very deaf on that side being the right ear. She flew in from Sydney, Australia to New Zealand on Tuesday an it started after that.

It may have been caused or aggravated by the pressure cabin, when she was flying.
Has she seen a doctor?

And if she is suffering from hearing loss, then it is really important that she see a doctor and get to the root of the problem, before any permanent damage is done.
