E-trans Fentanyl Status

Is this system still under development? I've used Mylan fentanyl transdermal patches for several years. Started with 50 ug/hr and now using 75 ug/hr. Of the three day cycle, the first day is good - effective pain reduction without "druggy" side effects. The second day is usually pretty good if I haven't been too active physically. The third day usually sucks to the point that some days I don't even get out of bed. Based in my experience, it doesn't appear likely that going to 100 ug/hr patches would help. On the other hand, being able to have some control over dose rate seems promising.

I'm sorry, but I have no information on this.

However, these patches can also be prescribed to be changed every 48 hours, rather than every 72, so that is something you may want to look into to see how it works for you.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
