White oval pill with E and then 281, it's supposed to be Metoprolol but they are smaller than the other ones I had before.

The size of a tablet is only dependent on what filler/inactive ingredients the manufacturer has decided to us in the production formula, and the medication dosage, so pill sizes can differ from one manufacturer to another.
The tablet with the E 281 marking was manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, and they listed it as containing 25mgs of Metoprolol, which is commonly used to treat high blood pressure, and certain cardiac conditions. NDC: 00185-0281 This tablet has been discontinued.
