Duxil contains the active ingredients Almitrine and Raubasine, it is used to enhance respiration, to treat age related cerebral disorders and for other conditions like vertigo.

To be honest, since this isn't used in the U.S. the information we have available on it is very limited. Thus, I have no idea on its purpose for eyesight.

Have you asked the doctor why they prescribed it?
