Duloxetine For Pain / How Does It Work?

My Dr prescribed this TEVA 7543 for my chronic lower back pain. How does it work? I don't have depression and Duloxetine is an antidepressant.

Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight gain.

Going to start Dulan (Duloxetine) 20 mg with Inderal. I have pain in my arms, shoulder and neck. Especially at night. I can't bend my arms due to pain and discomfort. I stay awake most nights. Pain gets worse after intercourse. Hope this will help improve my symptoms.
