Drug Testing At Doctors For Prescription Refills
UpdatedI have a prescription for Norco 10/325 I take it as needed for back pain. When I went to see my doctor a few months ago I had to take a drug test. This was no problem because I don't take any drugs other than my prescription. At the next visit I was told I had alcohol in my system. It was a low amount but the doctor said any alcohol is not allowed. I have to go back in 15 days for a follow up urine test. I'm always carful not to mix alcohol and my medication but I do drink, mostly related to my job. Can you give me some information about this. What kind of drug tests are being used (how many panels)? How long will alcohol stay in my system? How can I flush my system before the next test? I live in Illinois. Thanks.
