Drug Supplier

My wife has been taking Salsalate for many years. Up
to now the price has been acceptable but the last order
increased the price by FIVE times. The manufacturer
has been Amneal which recently bought out a competitor.
Also, tests are being done to possibly treat diabetics with
this drug. Can you tell me if there are other US drug
manufacturers for this drug or equivalent ? If not in the US, then a reliable foreign maker?

I'm actually not finding any clear information on what companies are still manufacturing this, since it is available as a generic and under several name brands.

Have you tried checking prices with different pharmacies?
