Drug Interactions, Diazepam 5mg, Oxycodone 10/325

The diazapam is twice a day, which is what most of my meds are.... Except the Oxycodone which is every four hours..... In addition to the above mentioned medications, I am also prescribed: Sertraline 150mg, hyoscyamine 0.375, buspirone 15 mg, ondansatron, zen pep and Omeprozole (sp?).... Are there any possible adverse interactions with taking this many pills daily (or with the types of medication taken)?

The biggest concerns that have the potential to be dangerous are combining the Sertraline, Buspirone, Oxycodone and Ondansetron. All of these can have an effect on serotonin, which could result in your developing too much of it and suffering from serotonin syndrome, which risks being fatal.

Additionally, both the Ondansetron and the Sertraline can increase the QTc interval of the heart, which could also be dangerous, as listed by the FDA.

Were these all prescribed by the same doctor? Is your pharmacy checking for interactions for you?
