Phenytoin is commonly used as an anti-epileptic drug, to help prevent the associated seizures. It has also been used to treat some forms of neuralgia and arrhythmias.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, nystagmus and sedation.

I AM USING THIS MEDICINE FOR THE LAST ABOUT 2 YRS ALONG WITH MEDICINES FOR HYPERTENSTION AND FOR THYROID. WHAT IS THE SIDE EFFECTS IF USED ALL TOGETHER CONTINIOUSLY?

After first convulsion doctor prescribed eptoin 100mg tablet 1in the morning and 2 at night.fter 2 months doctor prescribed epsolin 300 er capsule once at bedtime.
eeg and mri reports are good ,i want to know how long we should continue the medicines? since he is having drowsiness.
