am on lipitor and have just been prescribed metroprolol for high blood pressure. Have neen on losartan most recently because lisinopril caused a dry cough after long use.

Lipitor and certain other medicines can interact causing serious side effects. Although this does not address your specific question, you should still address your doctor.
