How long have you been taking the birth control?

The reason I'm asking is because if you've been on it for awhile and just recently started the Lisinopril for blood pressure elevation, there's a chance that the contraceptives are what's causing the elevation and you may not need to take another medication. There's a chance it could be resolved by just stopping the hormonal contraceptives.

Depending on how high it is, you may need a blood pressure medication for a period of time, until your body's hormones level back out on their own and you see if your blood pressure returns to normal, but it's worth looking into.

Learn more Lisinopril details here.

And both it and the Lisinopril may cause weight gain.

As to the pain and not being able to work out, if you don't, the pain will just get worse. I've been there and unless there is serious risk of your doing more permanent damage to yourself, then it's better to push through the pain and get the exercise. Doing that will actually help with pain relief. If you need to, look into speciality exercises that you can do to help stay fit, that may not cause so much pain.

Is there anything else I can help with?
