Drotaverine 40mg Before Menstral Cycle

I had stomach cramps and my doc prescribed 40mg Drotaverine days before my menstral cycle was supposed to start.now am two days late and am wondering if Drotaverine caused it

In theory it shouldn't cause it, but when it comes down to reality, it's very hard to say what may or may not affect our hormone levels and throw our cycle off.

It could have been from the medication, or whatever illness caused the stomach cramps. It may even just be due to your stressing about being ill and/or taking the medication.

Most of the time, our bodies manage to regulate our hormones fantastically, so they are kept in great balance and we never notice any issues……but there are times that the slights thing can throw a wrench in the works, because the balance is a very delicate one that's easy to upset.

Are you sexually active and able to get pregnant? If so, then having a test done would probably be a good idea.
