Drixoral From Canada Is No Longer Available

All the pharmacy's are out and have been told that they will not recieve new shipments for 2 weeks to 2 months. Hooey. The U.S. Government stopped Shering-Plough from making it because of the meth issue. It's the only allergy medcine that works for me and they should be able to distribute in the U.S. with ID.

Have you considered using honey to help combat allergies?

Eating raw local honey can actually relieve seasonal allergies. It is said to work much like an allergy shot in that it exposes you to small amounts of allergens to help your body build immunity to the allergens.

When bees pollinate to make honey, they bring back allergens from the flowers, trees, and other plants. This leaves small traces of those allergens in their honey. Just like the doctor gives you small amounts of allergens when he or she gives you an allergy shot.

I just thought this tid bit of information might be helpful to you if still you're waiting a few weeks to receive that shipment of Drixoral. You may also want to try calling up local pharmacies about the availability of generic Dexbrompheniramine + Pseudoephedrine.

Canadian pharmacies have the orginal Schering Drixoral. I just received it June 19, 2012.

We've had no luck finding any either. I ordered 60 tablets for my husband and myself every 30 days; paid the extra $$$; and now they are giving us the same song and dance we heard in the U.S. when it first became unavailable. Nothing else we have tried ever worked, including prescription drugs.

I just got off the phone with one of the Canadian pharmacies & was told they are no longer able to sell it & there will be no more produced. What about other countries? I feel like an addict trying to buy heroin instead of a simple allergy tablet

As of first of Sep received the last order of Drixoral from AmericanaMeds. No more orders to be filled, ever.

Hey all -- I just ordered some Drixoral from pharmacymix -- haven't received any notices that they can't ship and the transaction processed normally. It's running about ~$1/pill there right now.

A friend in Canada bought some in a pharmacy there & tried to send it UPS &it was stopped at the border. Of course she was sending a lot of boxes.

No longer being produced. Which is making my life miserable. Claridan D does not work. Will be trying Allegra D next @ $1.50 a pill! Been taking Drixoral since 1965.

I ordered Drixoral from Pharmacymix and got it no problem, but they no longer have any either. So I've been alternating Zyrtec-D with my precious Drixoral and am getting through this allergy season. I feel like a junky when I search to find Drixoral and get panicky when I know we've seen the last of the best allergy drug ever. So it's ALLERGY SUFFERERS=0 and METH MAKERS=1. Thanks to the knee jerk reaction of lawmakers for getting this bad Drixoral off the market...but funny, there are still as many METH heads as ever!

find a friend in Canada & have him/her send you a couple packages at a time. It's sold over the counter there. A friend is doing that for me

Brother. I have flurted with Claraden D. It does not work from the antiistimine side. Will be trying Allegra D tonight at $1.50 a pill. I used to get Drixoral for $50 for 100 tablets. Let's hope Lodrane get through soon.

This is ridiculous. Some of us are about to die!!!

I agree! Nothing else works for me either, and if I don't get it, my allergies turn into a lympathic infection which has to be treated with antibiotics! It's outrageous that we have to go to other countries to get an allergy medicine that works, all because of some stupid meth heads. It's May 7 today and I just heard from 77 Canada Pharmacy that they have Drixoral for sale again, $121 for 60 tabs, inc. shipping. I think we should all join together to protest Drixoral not being for sale here. What good is covered health care to me when the only thing I need is illegal in the USA????
