Drixoral, Disophrol, Dexbrompheniramine?

I used to be able to get this locally, then I had to fill it from Canada. I forget what they called it, but pseudoephedrine is on prescription in Oregon, USA (Medicare won't cover it). I usually sent them a non-repo copy of my prescription, plus my ID and $$ and had n o trouble getting it. The last batch I got came from China, and it cost $36 US.

It vanished off the market, and I heard a rumor that the company that was making it couldn't find a good location to manufacture it. Since then nobody knows nuthin'.

IT'S THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS FOR ME. Period. I do have sudafed, but it's not really doing the antihistamine piece the way I need it. There is such a great demand for this product, either Drixoral, Disophrol, whatever, that I wonder why any manufacturer would hesitate this many years to get it out on the market. I can't seem to get any other information. Everything else just raises my blood pressure, makes me feel sick, etc., so they are not worth the exorbitant prices that they are charging over the counter. I have a steroid-based Rx nose spray, but it is so irritating it gives me nose bleeds. Please help rescue me from the headaches, dizzy spells, nose and facial pain, etc., etc., etc., not to mention migraines in extreme cases.

It was a miracle drug that would obliterate half the stuff on shelves, so they pulled it, IMHO. No more profits to be made from it.
