Dr. Near Garden City, Michigan That Prescribes Oxycodone
UpdatedI live in Garden City, Michigan. I've been getting 30 milligram oxycodone 90 pills and I need a new doctor. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me? Every doctor I've called has a few months waiting list and wants all my diagnostic results and files from other doctors I've seen. I can get all of my results and procedures I have had, like my inj's. and MRI's but I failed a drug panel at my current doctor and this is why I need to find a new one. I didn't see him for 2 months so I didn't have my medication but it doesn't matter. He still won't give me my oxycodone anymore. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me that isn't so hard to get into? I have Medicare and Medicaid.

I'm sorry I can't really help with your question...But I think you can help with mine. I've been on pain meds for 4 years after a bad car accident. My doctor keeps cutting my meds down more and more to the point I'm under 25 mg a day. I can't stand the pain anymore and need to go back to a higher dosage. My doctor refuses to help me. I live in the same area as you. I was wondering if you could please tell me the name of the doctor you've been going to before that was prescribing you those meds, or the name of a new doctor if you've found one already. It would be greatly appreciated!
I live near you in Detroit and need to find a doctor. Mine didn't renew his paperwork with my insurance company so I can't see him anymore. They did change Medicaid's insurance they accept. You may be able to go to the doctor (or the other doctors) in his office. If not, maybe we can both try finding someone else!
Kimberly,
If you're still in need of a doctor in that area I have someone that can help you out so long as you can get copies of your diagnostics and treatment history. I know the one time u/a + dismissal shouldn't preclude you if it was a one time issue and not a multiple u/a issue. Post back if interested. Take care.
ZeDsTeR2k17,
I live in garden city and got lower back issues. Surgery is out of the question due to blood thinners, and I currently have maxed out with my pain doc prescribing me 150-10/325 oxycodone and I have been on them for 17 months. I could use an upgrade probably due to tolerance issues. Got a thought?
Hi I live in Garden City and I am in desperate need of a doctor that will continue to prescribe my pain meds this is ridiculous the run-around I'm getting with the pain I'm in please help thank you
To DbHuntress1966 (3\24\17), in a response that i just found, all others were earlier. first and formost was what i learned to read was the article on the general standards for the prescribing and dispensing of narcotic meds including the non opioids / synthetics for the state of michigan. l go to garden city hospital. DO NOT USE KAMEL who is in the clinic and extremely RUDE. get a referral if possible. they are hardcore but have an OD there and mine isn't the greatest but 150 10/325 oxy is better than nothing. I think i have reached my limit with my doc there. I have and keep all my documents on everything. The sad part is you cannot ask for what you think you need as that is considered bad behavior even though you know its right. i feel giving out doctors names freely is not a wise idea. bad for the doc. besides u got the f--g DEA and Lansiing watching you. Do u know what it is like to go to a pain doc and see a shadow behind him? Who are u talking to? ur doc, the DEA? or Lansing? Quite frankly for us who need them are getting quite screwed, there are programs out there that are on our side and i am looking for them and i will find them. you need to as well, if we don't fight then we will lose. I am allergic to morphine however i am given morphine based pain meds. i'm going to part with these words of wisdom which will now put you down to where u can read the guidelines and guideline #5 states that other websites are not allowed without prior approval and giving u my email account is not allowed. Tomorrow is another day and I will do another search mission. I would like to know when the DEA and lansing all became doctors. It would not be fun to walk into the capital with all ur paperwork and say "diagnose me and my pain level, here's all my paperwork" and then write my script and slam it right on their desk.
