Doxycycline With Methadone And Mucinex

I am on 26 mg of Methadone and I take 600mg of Mucinex every 12hrs., but I got a prescription for Doxycycline 100mg 2 times a day for 7 days. Can I take them all together?

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Methadone, Mucinex and Doxycycline.

While this doesn't necessarily mean that no interactions exist, it is my hypothesis that this combination is generally regarded as safe.

However, if you still have any doubts about your prescriptions, I'd encourage you to consult your prescribing doctor and/or a local pharmacist before moving forward with treatment.
