Doxycycl Hyc Cap 100mg Treatment For Lymes Desease?

I was diagnosed with Lymes disease and was perscibed Doxycyl Hyc 100mg a day for 30 days. Does this sound right?

Thank you for your reply. I contacted my doctor to see if I could take 2 doses daily to confront this head on and he said it was OK. I think I have had this for about 3 or 4 years and have been having some severe effects. I hope I have not waited too longe and will suffer long term symtoms.
Yes, that is normal, the prescription of an antibiotic, such as Doxycycline is usually given for a period of 15 to 30 days.
It may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
