I don't know why my doctor gave me this medicine. What is it for?

Doxycycline hyclate (100 mg).

Doxycycline is frequently used to treat chronic prostatitis, sinusitis, syphilis, chlamydia, pelvic inflammatory disease, acne, rosacea, and Rickettsial infections.
