If u take 500 mg of hydrocodone. How many 1.5 's would you have to take to make it near 500

The most Acetaminophen that a tablet that is prescription can have in it now is 325 mg.

Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen comes in 3 strengths, Hydrocodone 10/Acetaminophen 325, Hydrocodone 7.5/Acetaminophen 325 and Hydrocodone 5/Acetaminophen 325.

I've never heard of anyone taking 500mgs of Hydrocodone, except throughout the duration of an entire monthly or bi-weekly script (i.e. if you took two 7.5mg tablets [15mg] a day for 33 days, you'd be at 495 mgs)... but for the sake of answering the question at hand, if you were to simply divide 500mg by 1.5mg, it would come out to roughly 333 1.5mg doses - Something that would have to require a patient to divide their 5mg pills into 1/3 - which actually equals 1.6mgs per 1/3 of a 5mg tablet. I'm assuming you might be tapering based on the type of question you're asking, but I wouldn't encourage you to try anything new without talking with your doctor first.
