My doctor has prescribed the above pills for severe inching taking one at bedtime. The recommended from the drugstore is 4 a day. As the inching has continued to be a problem. is it harmful to take more than one at night to see if it would help.

Since Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine that has strong sedative like properties, that means it can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could result in severely lowered blood pressure, heart rate, shallow breathing and etc.
Thus, it wouldn't be advisable to up the dosage, without the approval of your doctor.
