Don't Have Enough Money For My Xarelto Prescription
UpdatedI was diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg and it busted and went to my lungs (pe) in February. So I've been on this medicine ever since. But recently I lost my job and insurance, and meds are $440 dollars for a one month supply. I haven't taken any meds for 3 or 4 days, and I'm starting to feel some of the effects of i guess my blood thickening. What should I do before it's too late?

I would suggest contacting your doctor, there are cheaper alternatives that can be prescribed, such as Warfarin. While it does require more frequent INR monitoring the price for it is much lower in most areas of the U.S.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased risk of bleeding.
Is there anything else I can help with? How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
I apologize, my computer decided to remove the word priced, though I have no idea why. LOL
Hi if you talk to your Dr. He should give you a form to fill out with your info and the Dr.s name and his idea number and fax it to the xeralto company and they will give you the medication for free. I dont understand why they didnt tell you this in the hospita.
