Done With Pain Killers (Top voted first)

I want to quit taking norco but I'm so scared. I've only been without them for 3 days before. Where do I start. I want my life back.

Hi Stephanie,

It's great that you want to say goodbye to pain killers, they can really do more harm than good in many cases!

The best advice I can give is to make sure you're eating plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated throughout the day. This will significantly aid your body in detoxing quicker. Besides getting plenty of rest each night I'd also recommend getting at least an hour each day of exercise in to help sweat out any toxins and get your lymphatic system flowing (which will significantly aid in detoxification as well).

Thx for the info I really appriciate it I also read about a herb called Kratom. I wanted to try it but haven't done too much research. Anyone have info on meds that can help with the withdrawals.
