Dog Pill Identity - Round Yellow Pill With Bmp Over 193

I have small round yellow pills that look like they have BMP on one side and 193 underneath it, with nothing on the other side. I am pretty sure they are my dogs but just want to make sure what they are as the label got wet.

Hello, Jean! How are you and your pups?

I thought this one looked familiar, we lost a dog to cancer just before Christmas, so I looked through his remaining medications, since he'd been sick for awhile. Our vet prescribed it for an infection, it is listed as containing 50mgs of the antibiotic Amoxicillin. I can't say if it was prescribed last year, or sometime prior, since we'd used multiple vets and battled his health issues for a long time. We lost track a long time ago. Labels wear, with handling, or as you stated, they sometimes get damp, and you can't really read them that well.

The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, diarrhea, skin itching, and dizziness.

On a positive note, before anyone thinks I am seeking sympathy, or anything, while we cannot ever replace him, and will always miss him, we did feel the best way to honor his memory was to adopt another pup that needed a home. We found a lovely little lady that was rescued from a puppy mill type of situation. We gave her a forever home in January. :-)

Thank you so much for the reply. I am sorry for you loss but happy to hear you adopted another in your loved ones memory.I thought it may have been an antibiotic but really was not sure anymore,she had a few issues so better safe then sorry. Best of luck with your new baby for the info.
