My 50 lb dog ate Lisinopril tablet. Will it hurt her?

I'm sorry, but I don't know what most human medications will do to animals.

Many human medications are also used in dogs and since Lisinopril is used to help lower blood pressure, it could have an effect on hers and may make her ill.

Have you contacted a vet?


You should definitely watch for signs of problems, such as lethargy and vomiting.

My dog about 80 pounds got my bottle of lisinopr/hydrochloride hiazide tab 20-25mg. Not sure how many he ate but by counting I think it was about 3.
