Hello :-) I have been on Belviq for two weeks now. I feel no different other than I'm more tired than usual. My appetite and cravings havn't changed at all, really I'm no different, weight is the same. Should I give it longer? I take 10mg when I first get up, and when I get home from work at 5pm before dinner. I have used Adipex in the past a few times and it too, did absolutely nothing. I found that weird as friends who took it couldnt sleep ect. Could it be something wrong with me? Thanks.

Hello, Danielle! How are you?

It doesn't necessarily mean that there is something wrong with you, not all medications work for everyone that tries them. It's just the nature of life and biology.

However, you should give it a couple more weeks, so it can reach its full level of efficacy in your body, before writing it off. If it's still not working, after a month, then you should speak to your doctor.

You may do better with something that combines more than one medication, such as Contrave. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia.

Does anyone else have any advice to add?
