I just found out the other day that Prinivil causes a dry cough. I take Prinivil and have noticed a cough going on for about a year now. What does this drug do to the body that will result in a cough? How does this effect someone with a cold or other more serious resperatory conditions?

HI Carl, yes, coughing is listed as an adverse side effect from taking Lisinopril (Prinivil).
